The Opportunity

Reporting to the Registration Manager the Registration Assistant plays an essential role in supporting applicants registrants and stakeholders through the registration and renewal process. This position requires someone who understands and follows legislation policies and procedures with fairness consistency and transparency.

This is a 6 month hybrid position requiring two days per week in-office at our clients location in northwest Edmonton.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Registration Management: Maintain accurate membership registry records ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and procedures.
  • Application Support: Process applications for new graduates out-of-province applicants and registrant renewals. Respond to inquiries manage documents and process fees in accordance with policy guidelines.
  • Administrative Support & Reporting: Assist with policy reviews procedure updates website content and special projects. Prepare statistical data and assist with internal reporting needs.
  • Reception Support: Provide backup coverage at reception when needed including customer assistance inquiry management and processing of fees and requests.

What You Bring:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skillsable to provide clear concise information while managing a high volume of details.
  • Self-motivated highly organized and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working with policies and guidelines with the ability to make sound accurate judgments under pressure.
  • A professional client-centered approach to service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in office administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years experience in an administrative role; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience in registration education administration or within a regulatory environment is an asset.
  • Strong computer skills especially in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook).
  • Fluent in English (speaking reading and writing).
  • Able to meet professional and criminal reference checks.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada.
