JOB BAND: C
CONTRACT TYPE: 10 months Fixed-term Contract/Attachment Full-time ( Until end of May 2026)
DEPARTMENT: BBC Nations Radio Devon
LOCATION: Plymouth
PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: 27300 - 30000 depending on relevant skills knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

This role is advertised as part of our BBC Extend programme for disabled people. To apply for this role you should identify as deaf disabled or neurodivergent and must meet either the definition of disability in the Equality Act (2010) or the definition of disability in the Disability Discrimination Act (1995) if applying in Northern Ireland. Use a range of video audio and digital equipment and information technology to research write assemble edit and deliver programmes in the appropriate medium to the highest professional liaise closely with other team members and with other departments in the BBC to ensure that output material is shared duplication is avoided and best practice is a lead within a team setting or on delivering a specific piece of journalism or project as tailor different news treatments for different audiences ensuring that the output reflects the audiences we prioritise and plan activities taking into account all the relevant issues and factors such as deadlines staffing and resources produce engaging packages through a range of production to tight deadlines while maintaining the highest editorial all times to carry out duties in accordance with the BBC health and safety policy
