Job Skills / Requirements
Guardteck is looking for Rapid Response Guards for Victoria BC.
What you should have:
- 1 year of relevant security experience
- Valid British Columbia Basic Security Training
- Residing in Victoria BC
- Loss Prevention is an asset
- Valid OFA1 certificate
- Advanced Security / Use of Force Training
- Must be familiar with handling vagrants and intoxicated persons
- Must be confident in verbal conflict de-escalation
- Proficient in the English language (verbal & written)
- Able to complete high-quality reports
- Top-notch customer service with previous experience considered a strong asset
- Professional approach to role; acting in a disciplined honest and ethical manner
- Able to patrol and stand for long periods of time
- Comfortable working alone or with a diverse team
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Strong presence
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Situational awareness
- Attention to detail

Certification Requirements (All)
British Columbia Security License
AST (After 4 Months of Joining).
OFA level 1
