About the position

Councils Safer Communities Department is looking for a Senior Rapid Response - Community Laws Officer who will be responsible for leading a key portfolio of the organisation - Councils Rapid Response Team. The Rapid Response Team proactively monitor and enforce Councils Community Local Law and other key legislation across the Frankston CBD and suburban areas.

The main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and delivering proactive operational campaigns of interest to Council to prioritise Community Safety and Amenity.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Rapid Response Community Laws Team and ensure provision of compliance action by enforcing the relevant legislation regulations Local Laws and education of the community.
  • Staff Management & Leadership Customer Service and Animal Handling.

About you

  • Experience in delivering targeted operational programs in a compliance and enforcement setting.
  • Contemporary enforcement approach to achieve sustainable outcomes.
  • High degree of time management and priority setting.

This position is aBand 6currently remunerated at$100338.66per annum plus superannuation. Overtime will also be paid as required.
