About Your Opportunity

The Fleet and Mobile Plant Officer supports safe efficient and cost-effective management of Seqwaters fleet and mobile plant assets. This role coordinates daily operationsprocurement maintenance compliance and data managementensuring all vehicles and equipment are fit-for-purpose meet safety and environmental standards and align with Seqwaters Fleet and Mobile Plant Policy and Fleet Optimisation Strategy. It also supports strategic initiatives including sustainability digital fleet systems (e.g. IVMS) and asset utilisation optimisation to drive performance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day activities across Seqwaters vehicle and plant fleet including procurement servicing repairs and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates to fleet databases asset registers and the In-Vehicle Monitoring System (IVMS) supporting performance monitoring and reporting.
  • Assist with fleet audits monitor compliance with the Fleet & Mobile Plant Policy and ensure vehicles and plant meet regulatory requirements including licensing ANCAP safety ratings and routine maintenance schedules.
  • Work closely with business units suppliers service providers and regulatory bodies to meet operational needs and deliver high standards of fleet service and support.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Experience in coordinating and administering an in-house fleet and mobile plant program including light and heavy vehicles and specialised equipment.
  • Strong administrative organisational and reporting skills including experience with procurement financial monitoring and insurance processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a proven ability to work collaboratively across departments and external providers.
  • Sound knowledge of fleet and mobile plant operations maintenance scheduling and asset lifecycle management.
  • Experience managing supplier relationships and service contracts for vehicle servicing repairs and procurement.

This position will be offered on a 6-month fixed term contract based at our Ipswich Head Office with a salary of $93934.23 plus 12.75% superannuation.
