Job Description

Amazons Litigation & Regulatory department is seeking a dynamic Program Manager to help manage third-party vendor relationships reporting for eDiscovery operations and oversee the eDiscovery managed review vendor program. This Seattle-based position serves as a crucial role in bridging legal teams IT systems and external vendors to optimize our eDiscovery processes supporting Amazons legal operations with a blend of technical expertise vendor management skills and deep understanding of eDiscovery principles.

A successful candidate is a self-starter who excels at working independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple high-priority initiatives communicates clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing reacts with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick response or turnaround takes effective action without knowing the whole picture excels at making sound decisions and is proactive and innovative in solving customer challenges. The candidate combines exceptional customer focus with meticulous attention to detail thriving under tight deadlines while adapting seamlessly to rapid changes. Given the sensitive nature of legal work a high level of professionalism integrity and discretion in handling confidential information as well as the ability to cultivate strong relationship across all organizational levels are essential.

Key job responsibilities
Support the implementation of the eDiscovery Transformation Program.
Help manage relationships and performance of eDiscovery and Review vendors.
Implement standards for ESI services vendors and Review vendor services.
Help create and oversee a preferred partner program for eDiscovery vendors.
Build requirements for weekly and monthly reporting to evaluate eDiscovery review matter health.
Manage and maintain dashboards for eDiscovery operations.
Collaborate with IT and Exchange/Purview teams on technical processes supporting legal holds including laptop retrieval and mailbox reconnects.
Maintain eDiscovery Standard Operating Procedures.
Track tasks and deadlines using project management tools like Asana or others.


- 5 years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
- 5 years of litigation and eDiscovery support experience in a vendor law firm government or in-house settings.
- Experience using data and metrics to drive process improvements.
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
- Proven track record in vendor management and cost optimization.

- Expertise with eDiscovery platforms (e.g. Relativity) and project management tools (e.g. Asana).
- Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g. QuickSight Excel advanced functions) and data analysis.
- 3 years of vendor management experience.
- Demonstrated success in implementing AI solutions for process improvement.
- Deep understanding of legal hold processes and requirements.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations.
- Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders across all levels.
- Familiarity with data visualization and project tracking tools.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills adept at translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
