Norwich
Salary: Circa 50000
Are you ready to lead a team and shape financial control in a dynamic market
Were looking for someone whos curious collaborative and ready to take the next step in their finance career. This is a great opportunity to gain experience running end-to-end accounting and financial control for our Ireland General Insurance market.
A bit about the job:
Youll join the UK&I General Insurance GL Accounting Control & Operations team. Were responsible for delivering the month-end close and maintaining strong financial controls.
In this role youll lead the Ireland GI team ensuring accurate and timely general ledger close analytics and reporting. Youll work closely with teams across Finance including Financial Reporting Reinsurance and Actuarial.
Youll also support internal and external audits and play a key role in governance and risk management.
Skills and experience were looking for:
Experience leading a team and ability to plan and manage team workload and priorities.
Qualified accountant or suitable financial experience. Knowledge of IFRS17 advantageous.
Experience of operating strong financial control.
Good analytical skills with a curiosity mindset.
Strong stakeholder relationship and communication skills.

Circa salary 50000 (depending on location skills experience and qualifications)
