Overview: The Ophthalmologist Consultant is an integral part of our healthcare team delivering high-quality eye care to patients during the OPD morning and evening slots at our Yelahanka Bangalore location. The Ophthalmologist will employ expert diagnostic skills interpret visual tests and provide a range of treatments including medical and surgical interventions. This position is pivotal in ensuring that patients receive comprehensive eye assessments and tailored treatment plans that address their unique needs. The ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes is essential. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages.
- Diagnose and treat various ocular diseases and conditions.
- Perform surgical procedures including cataract surgery and glaucoma management.
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as visual field tests and OCT scans.
- Manage postoperative care and monitor recovery of surgical patients.
- Educate patients about eye health and disease prevention.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for multi-disciplinary patient care.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in ophthalmology.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions.
- Guide and mentor junior doctors and medical staff.
- Provide emergency eye care to patients when necessary.

Required Qualifications:
- MD or DO in Ophthalmology from an accredited institution.
- Valid medical license to practice in Karnataka.
- Board certification in Ophthalmology.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in ophthalmology.
- Demonstrated proficiency in performing a variety of eye surgeries.
- Strong understanding of ocular pathology and management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
