Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and hands-on Field Technician to support our ongoing IoT project installations across industrial plants. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical or instrumentation work with a strong focus on sensor installation cable laying and onsite coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install IoT sensors and related electrical infrastructure (cable laying connections etc.)
- Coordinate and manage onsite contractor teams during installation
- Liaise with plant authorities to obtain necessary permissions for installation
- Interact with clients for site-related updates and requirements
- Ensure timely and quality completion of project installations
- Maintain installation documentation and provide regular status updates
- Troubleshoot basic electrical or sensor-related issues at the site
Qualifications:
- Education: ITI or Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation
- Experience: 1-2 years preferred (Freshers with strong technical skills may also apply)
- Skills Required:
- Basic understanding of IoT hardware and electrical systems
- Hands-on experience in sensor mounting and cable routing
- Team handling skills for managing on-site labor/contractors
- Good communication skills for client interaction
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel to different plant locations
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Physically fit for field work in industrial environments
