Job Description
Adelphi is seeking qualified Physical Therapists to provide school-based physical therapy services at a school district in Starr County Texas. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in educational settings and will support students mobility and access to learning in alignment with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Requirements
Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from a program accredited by (CAPTE)
Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Texas
Minimum of 3 years experience working with children (school-based experience preferred)
Strong understanding of special education processes and compliance requirements
Must pass a background check in accordance with Texas Education Code Chapter 22
Responsibilities
Conduct physical therapy evaluations and assessments for eligible students
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
Deliver direct therapy services in school settings
Participate in ARD (Admission Review and Dismissal) committee meetings
Collaborate with school staff and families to support student success
Train school personnel on proper handling techniques and adaptive equipment use
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress
Ensure compliance with all applicable local state and federal regulations
