Job Description

We are seeking our next Methods Agent with a strong knowledge of structural assembly to support the assembly team in optimizing processes.

  • Work in collaboration with the production department the aircraft methods support group and the engineering department in our clients manufacturing centers to analyze  requests in order to find technological solutions that will improve assembly performance; 
  • Collaborate with Structural Assemblers to enhance assembly techniques.
  • Develop and implement efficient methods for structural assembly.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Interpret drawings and other documents from the engineering department;
  • Establish assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components.
  • Define the tools necessary for the fabrication or assembly of aircraft components to ensure the required geometric tolerancing.
  • Coordinate the implementation of engineering changes or assembly strategies by working closely with the engineering materials logistics quality and production departments.

Qualifications :

How to thrive in this role Skills knowledge & experience:

  • You have 5 years experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment; 
  • You have in depth experience of aircraft structural assembly processes.
  • You are comfortable reading technical drawings and have good 3D visualization and analytical skills;
  • You are familiar with Catia V5 and/or NX drafting software (an asset); 
  • You have excellent teamwork skills are recognized for your perseverance and judgment;
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Must possess a Green Card or be a U.S. citizen with VALID USA PASSPORT ( possibility of traveling to Queretaro Mexico)
  • Willingness to work in Quertaro Mexico for 10 weeks.

This position is a temporary (contract) position with no specific time period but could be extended or shortened as needed.
