Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team in Warkworth New Zealand. As the Store Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our retail operation ensuring exceptional customer service and driving sales performance.
- Lead and motivate a team of sales associates fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed targets
- Oversee inventory management including stock control and merchandise displays
- Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and health and safety regulations
- Analyse sales data and market trends to optimise store performance
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner
- Manage store budgets including payroll and operational expenses
- Collaborate with regional management to implement company initiatives and promotions
- Maintain a clean organised and welcoming store environment
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in retail management preferably in a similar store environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Excellent customer service skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Proficiency in inventory management and merchandising techniques
- Solid understanding of retail operations including sales strategies and loss prevention
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
- Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced retail environment
