Get to know the role
This role is required because we are expanding our regional infrastructure security capabilities. In return you will work with a great team working on complex architectures and managing cloud security of one of the largest cloud deployments in the region. You will report to the Engineering Manager IIand be based onsite at Petaling Jaya Malaysia.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Solve defined problems by building components/features with 3 years of codebase expertise
- Ensure reliability via design reviews monitoring and OE standards
- Write clean maintainable well-tested code using proper data structures/algorithms
- Give and receive constructive code review feedback
- Proactively resolve issues and communicate updates
- Secure container environments and enable quick vulnerability remediation
- Implement vulnerability detection in build pipelines to block production risks
Qualifications :
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Proficient in deploying public cloud services in AWS Azure or GCP.
- Comfortable to code in at least one high-level programming language - Java Python or Golang
- Experience with Computer Science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures.
- Committed to maintaining a set of software engineering skills.
- Understanding clean architecture principles.
- Experience with web frameworks and understanding of RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration and management
