Job Description
Main Purpose of Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Health and Safety Advisor to inform and maintain standards of safety health and well-being within a highly complex & regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on overall compliance in matters of HSSEQ in accordance with policy and legislation
- Provide leadership in the delivery of H&S delivery standards
- Act as a source of expert technical advice
- Serve as a role model in ensuring the highest standards of H&S are adopted
- Provide assistance and support to the H&S lead
Qualifications :
Qualifications
We would expect candidates to demonstrate the following:
- Tangible experience of driving best practice in technical activities processes policies and standards
- Good influencing skills to manage and motivate teams in support of complex programmes
- Ability to coordinate and organize multiple sources of reporting inputs / performance data and deliver project / programme reports as required
- An ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to govern and drive outcomes to ensure high quality service
- Experience working with Irish construction health and safety requirements
- Experience of the design and delivery of complex projects
- Prior experience working within safety critical environments such as metro / rail
