About Job 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Salesperson who has prior experience generating new revenue from existing clients. The Commercial Business Partner combines an excellent knowledge of the FMCG industry and a deep understanding of NielsenIQ products and services. You will be responsible for aligning key customer priorities and insights back to NielsenIQs capabilities identifying & converting opportunities to deepen commercial relationships and drive additional revenue.

You will be responsible for owning the commercial relationship with the clients delivering on the revenue plans by negotiating the renewal of continuous services whilst identifying opportunities to meet growth targets. You will develop effective relationships between individuals and teams both internally and at clients to provide best in class NielsenIQ / client commercial partnerships.

Youll devise a strategic approach for developing a group of clients through agile and flexible solutions that deliver value to our clients in a profitable way. We are looking for someone who is ready to drive positive change challenge wider business process and be fully driven by achieving success with the support of the wider industry team.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops a deep understanding of client industry/business to plan & execute sales strategies to drive contract renewals
  • Maintains strong C-suite relationships and expands client network building and owning local customer relationships securing new revenue opportunities for both short and long cycles.
  • Collects and share Voice of Customer through ongoing client interactions
  • Partnering with Global Account Development and Customer Success to develop and execute Account Plans and JBPs
  • Owns prospecting and identification of local selling opportunities for the generalist product set
  • Builds proposals aligns stakeholders and gains support and creates and delivers client presentations in collaboration with technical expertise of product specialists for the generalist product set
  • Brings in the right sales and product specialists and customer success resources to support local accounts;
  • Coaches and mentors more junior members of the team to help them achieve best in class account management opportunity identification and commercial partnerships
  • Acts as SPOC for the sales team for key projects
  • Develops and executes pricing strategy and lead negotiation process for generalist product set (for ad hoc sales / yearly contract renewals)
  • Client stakeholder management including owning the forecasting and achievement of revenue targets for your client portfolio managing client financials including invoicing and collection.
  • Provide top management with thorough review of internal and client financials including budget and forecast through accurate and proactive use of internal CRM tools and processes.

 

Requirements

  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • Business Studies/Management Graduate
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
  • Strong time management/project management/organisational skills
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets
  • Very strong business English both verbal and written
  • Numerical literacy
  • Capable of working as part of a team within a fast-paced challenging and demanding environment whilst maintaining high standards
  • Ideally experience in FMCG sector or equivalent with an appreciation of NielsenIQ products services and data
