Job Description
What youre responsible for:
- Safely operating a crane to lift move and position metal materials within the facility
- Lifting and transporting metal materials using attachments such as magnets or grapples and safely placing them in designated areas or processing equipment
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers ensuring proper weight distribution and load security
- Collaborating and communicating effectively with team members supervisors and other personnel
- Conducting pre and post inspections of the crane including overall crane maintenance
- Operating the following heavy equipment: Crane Shear Loader
Qualifications :
To join our team:
- You hold a Crane Operator certification and/or equivalent experience
- You have a minimum of 1 year of experience operating a crane in a heavy industrial setting
- You have great attention to detail and the ability to accurately position and handle different types of metal materials
- You have a solid understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to crane operation and material handling
- You are familiar with various crane attachments such as magnets or grapples
