Pay Rate/Range:$13-17/hr
Description: Will perform regular cleaning of production area walkways lobbies corridors stairways locker rooms restrooms break rooms and offices. Operate industrial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers pressure washers and vacuum systems cleaning and polishing floors polishing metalwork cleaning rugs carpets upholstered furniture draperies and window blinds. Wash windows door panels and sills and dust furniture and equipment. Clean up spills and address potential safety hazards promptly. Will monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and restroom products and perform minor maintenance duties such as changing light bulbs and unclogging drains and report maintenance issues and safety concerns to management. Other duties as assigned. Position located in Sterling KS.
Job Requirements: Must have a high school diploma or GED and previous janitorial experience in an industrial setting. Must have knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety protocols an understanding of hazardous material handling and disposal procedures and have strong attention to detail and thoroughness. Must be self motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must have tolerance for exposure to cleaning chemicals with the proper PPE be able to stand walk sit stoop kneel crouch or crawl and lift up to 50lbs. Steel toed shoes with met guards are required.
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:00pm
