Job Description
The Opportunity
We are actively seeking a new Field Delivery Manager for DownersEnergy & Utilities business unit located in Wodonga.
The Field Delivery Manager is responsible for leading a team of internal field resources and contractors in the safe and efficient delivery of the allocated programs of works within time and cost budgets whilst managing risks to ensure asset performance and safety and quality objectives are met or exceeded. Leading and mentoring their team to manage customer expectations and the strategic contract objectives ensuring effective utilisation of all field resources and plant to meet all KPIs. Leading by example and embedding a safety first team orientated culture. Ensuring all matters are resolved in a timely manner to avoid escalations and reduce industrial risk
What we are looking for
- Tertiary technical or trade qualifications.
- Drivers licence
- Other qualifications or willingness to obtain as per VESI guidelines
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams in an ESI environment.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and competency in leading the utilisation of resources to deliver a program of works
- Ability to build a cohesive and high performing team
- High-level problem-solving skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities in an agile environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and performance metrics
- Working knowledge of laws and legislation as relevant to work environment
