Job Description
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Analyze current IT systems and business processes for improvements.
- Perform gap analysis to identify the difference between current and desired states.
- Develop detailed functional specifications for new systems.
- Create use cases user stories and process flow diagrams.
- Collaborate with IT developers and engineers during the design and implementation phases.
- Assist in testing and validation of new systems and solutions.
- Facilitate training sessions for users on new and existing systems.
- Monitor system performance and conduct routine evaluations.
- Act as a liaison between business units and IT departments.
- Participate in the development of project plans and timelines.
- Utilize data analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
- Ensure that all documentation is accurate up to date and comprehensive.
- Support change management activities for new system implementations.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies for potential application.
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Business Administration or related field.
- Experience as a business systems analyst or similar role.
- Strong understanding of various IT systems and applications.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering and analysis techniques.
- Experience with system implementation projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in process mapping tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Experience in stakeholder management and collaboration.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
- Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
- Knowledge of database management and SQL is advantageous.
- Certifications in Business Analysis or Project Management are preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies.
