Job Description
Service Controller

Permanent Position
As the Service Controller you will manage the scheduling and dispatching of technicians while supporting the service help desk and assisting with workshop administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Open and manage Work In Progress (WIP) records for repairs and services.
- Allocate and dispatch technicians for breakdowns services and retail work.
- Provide timely customer feedback and handle queries.
- Capture job cards and follow up on outstanding submissions.
- Invoice WIPs in line with deadlines and update WIP records daily.
- Follow up on customer Purchase Orders (POs).
- Reserve parts for accepted quotes and jobs.
- Plan and coordinate load tests and service schedules including invoicing and document loading to the Autoline system.
- Update reports and perform general administrative tasks.
- Matric certificate.
- Minimum of 4 years relevant experience.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with technicians foremen and customers.
- Knowledge of the Autoline system is essential.
