Role description:
Arcadis is seeking an Architectural Designer to join our Retail Studio in Los Angeles office. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and will collaborate with other professionals on retail mixed-use projects. We are looking for a creative organized motivated individual who is a self-starter and can work both independently and as part of a team. The candidate should possess strong oral and written communication skills as well as excellent presentation and documentation abilities. The candidate must demonstrate an understanding of building and accessibility codes/standards and be capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously on various projects. The candidate should have an interest in developing project management skills and have the ability to effectively collaborate with consultants contractors and clients.
Role accountabilities:
Partners with the studio manager or lead designer to establish a planning and design vision.
Collaborating closely with team and senior staff supporting the design and technical tasks
Communicates openly embrace mentorship and nurture the next generation of designers.
Proactive decision-making in selecting appropriate methods and standards for executing the work from the proposal stage through all project phases
Coordinating project design and management with both internal and external stakeholders while ensuring quality control and project execution
Resolving design and technical issues within the project scope and escalate as needed to ensure project objectives are met
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Architecture

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per salary range for this position is $92530 - $152675.
Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
