Job Description
SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy development and ongoing maintenance of our mobile application. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing end-to-end mobile app product development with a focus on user-centric design technical excellence and business impact. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering design marketing and data analytics to deliver a best-in-class mobile experience.
KEY RESOPONSIBILITIES
- Product Strategy & Vision: Define and communicate a clear product roadmap for the mobile app aligning with company goals and user needs.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements translating them into detailed product specifications and user stories.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with engineering UX/UI design and QA teams across RealPage Resident Solutions to ensure seamless execution of the product development lifecycle. This will involve key integrations with our Leasing Payments Moving and insurance teams.
- User-Centric Focus: Leverage user research market analysis and data insights to drive feature prioritization and enhance user experience.
- Agile Management: Lead agile processes including sprint planning backlog grooming and release management to deliver high-quality features on time.
- Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the mobile app and iterate based on user feedback and analytics.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present product updates roadmaps and performance metrics to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
- Market & Competitor Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends competitor offerings and emerging technologies to ensure the app remains competitive.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience:
- 5 years of product management experience with at least 3 years focused on mobile app development (iOS and/or Android).
- Proven success in launching and scaling consumer-facing mobile applications.
- Experience working in agile environments with cross-functional teams.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of mobile app development processes including APIs SDKs and app store guidelines.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira Confluence Figma or similar for product management and collaboration.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with a data-driven mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Education:
- Bachelors degree in Business Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred but not required.
- Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with mobile app monetization strategies (e.g. in-app purchases subscriptions).
- Background in UX/UI design principles or user research.
- Familiarity with cloud-based architectures or mobile backend services.
