Job Description
Job Title: Diesel Mechanic
Location: Shreveport LA
Pay: $25/hour
Schedule: MondayFriday 8:30 a.m. 5:00 p.m. (40 hrs/week)
Tool Allowance: $200/month
Job Summary
Were hiring a Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Shreveport LA. In this role youll perform preventative maintenance and repairs on hydraulic and electrical systems handle parts replacement and perform minor engine repairs on our fleet of garbage trucks. This is a full-time physically demanding role that requires working outdoors in all weather conditions.
What Youll Do
Perform preventative maintenance including oil changes inspections and fluid checks
Diagnose and repair hydraulic electrical and mechanical issues
Assist with engine troubleshooting and minor repairs
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Keep accurate maintenance records and service logs
Support other mechanics as needed
What You Bring
3 years of experience in diesel or heavy truck maintenance
Technical school certification and/or ASE certification a plus
Must have own tools
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
