SUMMARY
The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator provides assistance with and facilitates the human resources process. This role provides administrative support to the human resources function as needed including record keeping file maintenance and HRIS entry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assists with the administrative functions within the recruitment process which includes tracking the status of candidates in the HRIS processing and monitoring candidates pre-employment screening and providing feedback to the other HR department team members on the status of candidates
2. Responsible for communicating new hire information to the leadership team.
3. Responsible for preparing for New Employee Orientation (preparing folders bags etc).
4. Assists with new employee orientation
a. Co-presenting HR portion of New Employee Orientation
b. Welcoming new hires on morning of first day
c. Collecting required information from new hires (ID direct deposit info etc.)
d. Distributing badges
e. Participating in new hire campus tour
5. Responsible for maintaining inter-department reports such as the position control spreadsheet VOE spreadsheet monthly audit reports etc.
6. Responds to written and verbal employment verifications within one business day
7. Maintains HRIS system to ensure date is current and accurate
8. Maintains personnel file information and conducts monthly audits of files.
9. Files personnel documents in a timely manner (personnel files medical files I-9 etc)
10. Provides customer service to employees by responding to requests emails and questions; escalates issues as needed
11. Makes copies faxes documents and performs other clerical functions.
12. Assists with HR reporting including but not limited to: performance reviews and clinical license verification.
13. Coordinates with employees to ensure that all applicable licensing information is accurate and current (clinical licensing Drivers License Auto license)
14. Communicates with managers to ensure performance reviews are received by HR timely (90 day reviews annual reviews etc).
15. Maintains confidential information.
16. Other duties may also be assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of of one year of experience in a human resources role. Healthcare setting preferred.
CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS If required to drive to carry out the duties of this position current drivers license and automobile insurance as required by Tennessee State Law.
