Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a dependable and qualified individual with a valid C-16 Fire Protection Contractor license or someone currently enrolled in a C-16 apprenticeship program to support a large-scale project. This is a hands-on site-based role that requires consistent daily presence through the projects duration.
Key Responsibilities:
Work on-site daily to support the installation maintenance or inspection of fire protection systems
Assist in coordination with project managers subcontractors and inspectors
Ensure all work complies with applicable codes regulations and safety standards
Participate in routine site safety meetings and follow all safety protocols
Qualifications:
Required: Current C-16 license OR enrollment in an active C-16 apprenticeship program
Strong work ethic and commitment to being on site daily
Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
Reliable transportation to and from the project site
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience on large commercial or residential construction sites
Familiarity with NFPA codes and California fire protection requirements
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Daily on-site presence required through July 31st with potential to extend based on project needs
