Introductory Marketing Language: The Marketing Oversight group aims to maintain a strong and consistent control environment across J.P. Morgan Wealth Management including (Chase Wealth Management J.P. Morgan Asset Management Self-Directed Investing Personal Advisors etc. marketing efforts through comprehensive end to end process management effective design evaluation of controls and sustainable solutions to mitigate operational risk within J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. We are focused on cultivating a strong unified culture that embraces a sense of personal accountability for developing the highest standards in governance and controls. Priorities include doing the right thing in every situation and disciplined oversight practices which foster transparency and aide in safeguarding J.P. Morgan Wealth Management Marketing from risk and maintain regulatory alignment.

As a Senior Associate in the Marketing Controls within J.P. Morgan Wealth Management (JPMWM) you will be a key player on the marketing oversight team. Your responsibilities will include supporting process management oversight managing invoices for over 80 marketers and providing operational controls support for J.P. Morgan Marketing. Your strong background in project management attention to detail and understanding of procedures controls and operational aspects will be crucial in this role. As a part of the J.P. Morgan Marketing Controls team you will work collaboratively with business partners on new processes and control strategies. You will help establish and promote key control initiatives monitor activities and support key system tools such as Adtrax Optima SAP and others from an operational control perspective following an established business operating model roadmap. Being self-motivated and self-directed you will thrive in a fast-paced and high-visibility work environment. Your role will require you to provide directional guidance on adherence to process and procedures and you will become a point of contact in day-to-day operational control oversight. You will interact with many stakeholders throughout Marketing Product Operations and Consumer Bank Marketing organization as well as other functional groups such as Risk Legal Product Compliance Audit and Controls

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support and manage key project initiatives in a robust controls environment
  • Maintain awareness and reporting of significant control issues within JPMWM Marketing.
  • Help self- identify the root cause of control and process breaks; provide expertise to the development of action plans to fix and/or remediate.
  • Communicate issues and present recommendations including opportunities to strengthen internal controls and improve operational efficiency.
  • Actively partner with functional support teams (i.e. Controls etc) to develop positive working relationships and maintain an open environment for collaboration and remediation
  • Serve as 2nd review (dual control) for departmental invoices resolve discrepancies errors by making decisions andthrough negotiations with impacted areas and management as appropriate

Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:

  • 3 years of investment / project management / operational experience/ controls.
  • Strong sense of urgency and proven ability and desire to learn quickly be flexible and think strategically
  • Proven process thinker with ability to root cause identify analyze and solve problems in a precise manner
  • Proven ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in an ever-changing environment
  • Strong organizational skills including the ability to absorb and retain information readily and prioritize tasks to meet changing demands and work under deadline constraints
  • Comfortable providing directional guidance while holding teams or individuals accountable for high quality work delivered according to committed target dates
  • Ability to maintain composure and a positive attitude while simultaneously leading multiple initiatives of varying size and complexity within a fast-paced results driven environment
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new system technologies that support project workflow and departmental process execution.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Word Excel PitchPro and PowerPoint applications; ability to document and prepare executive-level presentations

Preferred Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree (preferred)
  • Knowledge of the Investments business practices and processes (strongly desired)
