Qualifications
Education
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology Business Imaging or related field of study required (4 years relevant work experience in lieu of a degree)
Experience
- 3 Years ofexperience as a Radiology Technician in multiple modalities or PACS experiencerequired
- 1 year field service experience preferred.
Position Responsibilities-
Provides onsite and virtual day to day PACS operations management.
Co-ordinates interface between the PACS RIS and Voice Recognition systems.
Reporting - Provides management and statistical reporting including ad hoc report development.
Information Technology Department Duties
Skills:Applications such as database used for patient logging procedures and work processing and spreadsheets for statistical purposes required. Requires use of PC computers; ability to reason process communicate; requires knowledge of ADA EEOC hospital and department guidelines and HIPPA requirements.
