Under the general direction of the Director of Continuous Improvement the Systems and Procedures Analyst performs complex technical and analytical work assisting the District in the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure data integrity and accuracy that forms a foundation for data-driven management decisions District-wide; develops and delivers trainings to departmental and site staff in the application of the SOPs; creates and maintains a library of data quality rules and other assets for alerting and reporting data exceptions. The incumbents in this classification provide the school community with accurate extensive and reliable data about students and programs which directly support student learning and achievement.
The following alphabetical list of functions duties and tasks is typical for this classification. Incumbents may not perform all of the listed duties and/or may be required to perform other closely related or department-specific functions duties and tasks from those set forth below to address business needs and changing business practices.
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems Business Administration Organizational Management Communications (with significant coursework in Computer Information Systems and Information Management) or a closely related field.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Four (4) years of increasingly responsible professional experience in the development of operational policies and procedures analyzing operational needs and/or recommending organizational improvements.
LICENSE(S) REQUIRED:
An Eligibility list will be used to fill future Student Data Systems and Procedures Analyst openings.

The examination process will include screening to ensure applications are complete and meet all minimum qualifications. No additional information will be accepted from applicants once the application has been submitted. Only the most qualified applicants who pass the minimum qualifications review will be invited to the examination process.
The examination process will include a multiple-choice competency exam weighted at 50% and a data analysis performance exam weighted at 50% for a total exam weight of 100%. Those candidates achieving a minimum passing score of 70% on each examination will be placed on the eligibility list and the top three ranks will be forwarded to the hiring authority.
The Eligibility List is valid for one (1) year from the certified date.
