Job Description

DeBra-Kuempel Inc. is a leading provider of mechanical electrical and plumbing services to Cincinnati Dayton Columbus Evansville Lexington Louisville Eastern Kentucky and the surrounding areas. We deliver our services through the full lifecycle including design build and new construction major repairs and replacements and ongoing preventive services. DeBra-Kuempel is wholly owned by EMCOR Group Inc. a national provider of mechanical and electrical construction and facilities services including planning consulting and operations and maintenance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To best meet the needs of our Organization and Customers the ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

  • Develop maintain and improve financial operational and other reports models and dashboards.
  • Gain insight into the data flow between all current systems to allow data sharing and integration and where applicable assist in document data flows and later doing the same with a new ERP system.
  • Assist in transition from Excel/CSV based data sources and data reporting to SQL-based reporting tools.
  • Publish periodic financial and operational reports and reporting on results variances mix utilization etc.
  • Analyze data for trends exceptions and/or opportunities to assist in development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Assist in improving efficiencies through simplifying and/or automating the financial and other reporting processes.
  • Work with Finance Management and organizational units to identify and solve business system issues.
  • Assist the CFO and Controller in the budgeting and forecasting processes through reporting.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully the ideal candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.   • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies systems and processes.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of on-the-job experience in financial analysis or data analysis.
  • Must have strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a service-minded approach.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Analytics Information Systems Finance and/or Accounting is required.
  • Existing knowledge of SQL and knowledge of database querying relational models and management is a plus but not required.

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Advanced Proficiency in Excel functions including but not limited to Power Query pivot tables XLOOKUP etc.
  • Proficient with other Microsoft Office applications (Teams Outlook Word and PowerPoint)
  • Existing knowledge of Power BI with experience in transforming data and creating formatting and managing dashboards data models and reports is a plus but not required.
