Job Description

Warehouse Supervisor

Warehouse Team

Hours: M-TH: 4am - 4pm

Compensation: $25/hr

Performs functions directed towards successfully and efficiently meeting shipping goals for customer orders by providing daily direction instructions and training to warehouse personnel and reporting of all warehouse activities to appropriate departments / managers.

Essential Functions:

  • Planning and assigning work to meet daily shipping receiving production schedules
  • Responsible for ensuring secure loading/unloading and staging of product to prevent damage. Must report and assist in investigation of damages to product or equipment due to warehouse personnel actions.
  • Helps maintain safe and clean work environment.
  • Responsible for inspecting all incoming and outgoing vehicles before receiving or loading
  • Follow established Allergen Control Program Procedures as it applies to shipping receiving and warehousing
  • Responsible for ensuring secure loading/unloading of product to prevent damage. Must report and assist in investigation of damages to product or equipment due to warehouse personnel actions.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all finished goods raw and packaging materials in the warehouse
  • Ensure all lot codes are documented and all paperwork is processed daily
  • Follows and enforces guidelines for HAZMAT shipments in accordance to IATA FAA and DOT.
  • Enforces and maintains proper storage and identification for HAZMAT inventory.
  • Performs any additional tasks / special projects assigned by the QC manager.

Safety & GMP Objectives

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with established policies and procedures.
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures as well as complying with all OSHA EPA and other regulatory rules and regulations (THINK SAFETY FIRST).

*Ability to recognize unsafe acts and conditions in the facility and implement appropriate corrective actions.

*Ability to fully complete appropriate paperwork related to specific job functions in addition to quality and safety/training.

*Complete all annual training.

*Ability to recognize and report all incidents; even those that do not warrant treatment.

  • Review and execute our Food Safety Plan and MFP Mission Statement in order to provide value to each of our customers with safe relevant tasty food products; while never compromising quality.
  • Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMPs) including proper waste disposal attire grooming and hygiene etc.

Warehouse Supervisor for the Warehouse Team is supported and backed up by other Forklift Driver/Lead and other Warehouse team members including the Warehouse Manager.

Warehouse Supervisor reports to Warehouse Manager or in his absence the Plant Manager or Supply Chain Manager.
