Polar Speed a UPS company is a logistics company and innovative provider of temperature sensitive transportation and pharmaceutical supply chain solutions in the UK.
Polar Speed has a reputation for quality compliance operational and customer facing technology and monitoring solutions in the growing temperature sensitive pharmaceutical logistics market in the UK.
The company specializes in active temperature controlled deliveries to hospitals pharmacies wholesalers and medical care surgeries as well as to end patients which it serves through its homecare business. Its customers include some of the best known pharmaceutical brands in the world.
Warehouse Operative Nights
Based at Polar Speed Distribution Ltd Unit 2 Belgrave Court Caxton Road Fulwood Preston PR2 9ZB
40 hours a week Monday to Friday working 0130-1000
Salary: 25912.61 per annum
Key responsibilities:
Check pharmaceutical products.
Load and unload vehicles.
Receive in-bound consignments and allocate in warehouse.
Ensure pharmaceutical products are stored within the correct temperature range.
Goods in picking labelling packing and despatch.
Processing returns including quarantined damaged or batch recalls.
Follow standard operating procedures in the pick and pack operation.
Key Skills/Experience/Requirements:
Previous experience of working within a warehouse environment essential.
Forklift experience desirable but not essential as full in house training will be given.
Previous experience of working in a chilled/temperature controlled environment would be an advantage.
Good team player.
Computer literate with good reading and numeracy skills.
Good organisation skills with the ability to priortise.
An eye for detail.
