  • Suffolk County Council Endeavour House Ipswich IP1 2BX - Hybrid
  • 33366 per annum (pro rata for part time)
  • 37 hours per week - Flexible working options available
  • Fixed Term or Secondment for 12 months

Your role and responsibilities

Working within the Strategic Planning and Resources Supported Housing and Day Opportunities team this role will provide operational and administrative support in the oversight of both Supported Housing and Day Opportunity contracts ensuring the efficient delivery of contract management activities monitoring of financial viability quality delivery and cost delivering savings where relevant and appropriate and driving up contract performance.

You will also be responsible for providing operational support for all elements of commissioning including planning service redesign market development procurement and contract management activity where required.

Key areas of delivery:

  • Service and Market Development.
  • Relationship Management.
  • Contract Monitoring and Management.

You will need

  • A good knowledge of Adult Social Care.
  • Previous and demonstrable experience in Contract Quality and Performance Management.
  • A good knowledge of the commissioning cycle and active engagement and experience in commissioning activity.
  • A passion for making a positive difference for Suffolk and supporting the delivery of personalised good outcomes for people.
  • Self-confidence and perspective to facilitate open and honest relationships with the internal and external partners in order to discuss and remove barriers to the effective delivery of services.
  • A good understanding of the People at the Heart of Care principles.
  • High levels of achievement as an individual and a team player.
  • A strong commitment to fairness and Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI).

The team has embraced hybrid working and you should plan to be in the office a minimum 2 days a week. To promote team interaction our office days are usually Mondays and Wednesdays.
