Developmental Pathwayshas an opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist(SLP) Evaluator in ourEarly Intervention(EI)department. As an SLP you will get to provide developmental strategies relating to speech-language therapy during evaluations to children who have language hearing voice and/or feeding/swallowing concerns. The SLP will conduct early intervention evaluations and assessments for children under 3 years old who are referred for early intervention services. As a member of a multidisciplinary team use standardized evaluation and assessment tools to perform evaluation and assessments to determine eligibility for Early Intervention. Also will complete written reports from either evaluations or assessments.
Our ideal SLP will possess strong organization critical thinking communication and interpersonal skills. The SLP will actively develop collaborative relationships with individuals families peers and other community partners and be proactive in identifying problems and seeking solutions for both internal and external customers.
This role offers a 4-day 40-hour workweek Monday-Thursday and includes working primarily in-person at our headquarters office in Aurora CO and/or off-site locations with the flexibility to work remotely occasionally.

Two years experience in the relevant field
Specialty certification (ASHA or NBCOT)
Active DORA licensure in Colorado
Demonstrated experience with specific programmatic concepts practices and procedures
Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate family schedules
Valid Colorado motor vehicle license and provide proof of motor vehicle insurance
Meet our driving requirements - no suspensions and no more than two (2) tickets in the past three (3) years
Must be able to meet physical demands to include bending or twists of the body lifting standing time and sitting time to include floor play/therapy etc.
Upon request qualifying need and approval driving requirements may be waived in lieu of reliable transportation.
Preferred
Experience or training in Developmental Assessment of Young Children 2 Edition (DAYC-2) or Infant-Toddler Developmental Assessment (IDA)
Training in Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE) administration
Vision screening training
Knowledge of rules and regulations for Early Intervention
Additional experience in an area directly related to job assignment
Knowledge of rules and regulations for the Division of Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities and Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment
