Compensation: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour. You are eligible for a Short-Term Incentive Plan with the target at 5% of your annual earnings; terms and conditions apply.

End User Computing Service Desk II - Lab On-site in Aliso Viejo CA

The End User Computing Service Desk II - Lab provides technical support and guidance to throughout our lab to end users ensuring efficient and effective resolution of complex issues across various technology domains.

Essential Functions

• Respond to service requests and incidents reported via phone email or ticketing system in a timely and courteous manner
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for complex technical issues related to endpoints access management voice services printing and enterprise applications
• Set up Manage and maintain computer equipment mobile equipment and software including:
• Installing configuring and maintaining Windows and Apple operating systems through the companies imaging patching and deployment applications
• Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures
• Monitoring system performance and security
• Manage incoming and outgoing inventory of IT equipment
• Coordinate with subject matter experts and vendors for escalated support cases
• Proactively conduct research and implement solutions to resolve recurring or systemic issues
• Develop and maintain knowledge base articles and documentation for internal and end-user reference
• Provide training and mentorship to junior End User Computing team members
• Assist with the implementation and testing of new technologies and processes
• Promote best practices and adherence to ITIL service management principles
• Work on delegated project tasks as assigned to ensure timely and successful completion
• Physical network patch management throughout IDFs (Intermediate Distribution Frame) and facilities
• O365 Admin Center
• Exchange Teams SharePoint Intune user and people
• Access management through OKTA Active Directory and O365
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field or equivalent work experience
• 2 years of experience in a service desk or technical support role
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across various technology domains
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• CompTIA A Network or other relevant certifications
• Experience with KACE Service Desk or similar ticketing systems
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell Python) for automation
• Knowledge of windows RSAT tools
• Knowledge in Microsoft 365 Admin Center
