Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDES TASKS AND AUTHORITIES):


  • Installing configuring and maintaining the SCCM environment including the central administration site primary sites and distribution points
  • Managing software updates including planning and implementing software update groups and packages
  • Provide application/Windows OS installation configuration and patching data reporting including application install status and client health using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
  • Monitoring the health and performance of the SCCM environment troubleshooting issues and providing technical support to users
  • Developing and implementing SCCM processes and procedures to ensure the stability and security of the environment
  • Creating and maintaining SCCM reports queries and collections to support reporting and compliance requirements
  • Automating software deployment and distribution using SCCM including scripting and creating custom packages and tasks sequences


Key Responsibilities:

  • SCCM Administration:Manage SCCM infrastructure including servers clients collections and policies.
  • Software Distribution:Deploy applications and updates to endpoints using SCCM.
  • Patch Management:Implement patch management strategies coordinate testing and deploy security updates.
  • Operating System Deployment (OSD):Configure and manage Windows OS deployment using SCCM Task Sequences.
  • Troubleshooting:Troubleshoot SCCM client-related issues application deployment problems and SCCM server issues.
  • Reporting:Generate reports on patching status client health and deployment status.
  • Incident Management:Manage incidents and work requests in ITSM tools ensuring SLAs are met.
  • Documentation:Maintain documentation of SCCM configurations processes.
