We are currently accepting applications for Student Monitor. Under the direction of the Principal the Student Monitor will provide general supervision and monitoring of students.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Must possess a secondary school diploma.
- 6 months experience working with children/students in a supervisory/monitor capacity is required.
- CPR and First Aid is preferred/asset.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Skills Required
- Must possess a secondary school diploma
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate and respond to student needs.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use tact diplomacy and discretion in interactions within the school community.
- Ability to follow school policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities: (Any or all of the following)
- Provide general supervision and monitoring of students during lunch/nutrition breaks yard duty and in the halls.
- Supervise students within the school setting field trips and on the school yard in school as assigned by the Principal.
- Convey information to students regarding acceptable behavior as per school procedures.
- Demonstrates good attendance and works in a healthy and safe manner.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Effort Required (Physical & Mental):
Physical
Work requires light manual effort typical of a normal school environment.
Short periods of standing while supervising
