Our Cairns team is leading the pilot program for Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) Co-Response in partnership with the Queensland Police Service (QPS). This new model brings together Relationships Australia Queensland (RAQ) and QPS to jointly respond to DFV incidents ensuring immediate support for victim-survivors while enhancing perpetrator accountability. As part of this groundbreaking initiative DFV specialists collaborate with police during call-outs providing trauma-informed care safety planning and evidence-gathering to improve outcomes for those affected by DFV.
About the role
Are you passionate about empowering others and driving organisational growth through learning and development We are seeking a dynamic Learning & Capability Advisor to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping our workforces future. In this role you will deliver and support a diverse range of learning onboarding compliance and workforce development initiatives collaborating closely with operational clinical and non-clinical teams. You will be responsible for administering all Learning Management System (LMS) requirements including providing training and support to staff managing onboarding induction and orientation processes and overseeing offboarding to ensure seamless transitions. Your expertise will ensure our employees have access to high-quality learning experiences robust systems and essential resources that foster compliance engagement and professional growth. You will work closely with DFV practitioners understanding the unique challenges they faceincluding vicarious trauma shift work and the need for tailored support.

Additionally you will:
Act as the primary point of contact for all LMS-related queries troubleshooting issues and ensuring a seamless user experience for staff and managers.
Liaise with clinical and non-clinical teams to identify emerging training needs and adapt learning resources accordingly.
Monitor and report on compliance with mandatory training proactively following up with teams to ensure all requirements are met.
Collaborate with People & Culture Payroll Finance Quality and Risk teams to ensure the integrity and accuracy of people-related processes and data.
Support the continuous improvement of learning and development systems processes and resources through regular feedback and evaluation.
Promote a culture of learning and professional development by championing best practices and encouraging participation in capability-building activities.
About you

Additionally you have:
Undergraduate qualification in Journalism Media Public Relations Business or related discipline.
Demonstrated ability to deliver effective internal communications to inform and engage the workforce and support organisational change.
Demonstrated ability to communicate on a range of topics to a range of audiences via a range of communications methods.
