Job Description
We are now taking applications/resumes for a EXPERIENCED Dump Truck driver for the HOUMA LAand surrounding area. Duties/Responsibilities may/may not be limited to the following:
- Job Scope
- Haul materials to assigned locations
- Documents Required:
- Valid Class B CDL
- Social Security Card/Birth Certificate
- Required skills:
- MUST be able to operate MANUAL TRANSMISSION
- Good coordination skills
- Ability to operate controls in the cab of truck that manipulate the bed
- Good understanding of math and angles to properly position the bed
- Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ability to plantravel routes in accordance with applicable traffic and bulk cargo transportation laws
- Ensured timely delivery of all goods while preserving quality and integrity of the freight.
- Inspected vehicle track and log any mechanical problems.
- Secures equipment using various chains ratchets and binders.
- Performs post trip vehicle inspections of vehicles driven equipment moved and trailers towed noting any defects or deficiencies in writing.
- Must be able to pass drug screen
- Must be able to proved own PPE (hard hat steel toes safety glasses gloves)
- Pay:
- DOE
- Weekly Pay
- Pay Schedule: Monday - Sunday
- Schedule:
- 10-12 Hour Days (with weather permitting)
- Monday - Friday
- Weekends (as needed)
- Duration of Job:Temp to Hire
