We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Girls PE at Ixworth High School. You should have a personal track record of success teaching GCSE or BTEC PE to pupils with a range of abilities including those with SEN. The post is suitable for an ECT either in year 1 or year 2 of the framework or an experienced and qualified teacher.
Ixworth High School is a small friendly secondary school located in the Suffolk village of Ixworth it is around 10 minutes from the A14 15 minutes from Bury St Edmunds and 30 minutes from Ipswich. We have been oversubscribed in recent years and are a popular school.

We believe that success in any subject is down to a strong curriculum and consistent high-quality delivery in the classroom through a thorough knowledge of learning theory. We have a wide-ranging enrichment offer and deliver the full national curriculum in KS3 and a wide range of GCSEs in KS4. We are looking for someone with a passion for PE and a clear understanding of how students learn best.
