Job Description
Market Teller I
This Position Reports To: Branch Manager/Assistant Branch Manager
PRIMARY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information and activities
- Greet customers and assist in conversations about banking products to recommend banking products/services
- Maintain and balance within established standards
- May work at multiple branches based on market needs
- Contribute to overall branch results including customer experience
- Comply with bank policies procedures and banking regulations
- Process transactions up to designated limits using sound judgment
- Demonstrate understanding and comply with established security procedures
- Become proficient with job-related systems and equipment
- Participate in the general upkeep and appearance of the Branch
- Participate in available training opportunities including completion of ABA Teller Certification
- Participate in referral program
- Other duties as needed or assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:
- High school graduate or active student
- Two years work experience with the public preferred
- Basic math aptitude and proficiency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of accounting principles helpful
- Proficiency with basic technology
- Professional image
- Basic sales experience
- Awareness of general banking services
- Active in social and/or extracurricular activities preferred
