Job Summary:
Bizzell US has an immediate opening for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Scheduler/Planner to join our team at AMES NASAs. This role is essential in ensuring the successful planning scheduling and execution of our projects. The Scheduler/Planner will work closely with project managers engineers and other stakeholders to develop maintain and monitor project schedules ensuring that all project milestones and deadlines are met.
Responsibilities:
Develop maintain and update detailed project schedules using project management software (e.g. Primavera MS Project).
Coordinate with project managers engineers and other stakeholders to gather schedule inputs and ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
Monitor project progress identify potential scheduling conflicts or delays and propose mitigation strategies.
Prepare and present schedule status reports to project teams and management.
Conduct schedule risk analysis and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
Assist in the development and implementation of scheduling best practices and standards.
Support project planning activities including resource allocation timeline estimation and critical path analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of project activities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling documentation and records. g contract performance in accordance with the direction and policies of Bizzell.
Key Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain an access card to the site.
Proficiency in project scheduling software such as Primavera (P6) and MS Project.
Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Project Management Engineering Business Administration or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project scheduling and planning preferably in the aerospace or engineering industry.
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and schedule risk analysis is desirable.
Certification in project management (e.g. PMP PMI-SP) is a plus.
Experience with managing government contracting requirements including FAR government furnished equipment and materials property accountability and work control.
