DescriptionWe are looking for a Leader of Data Security Architecture and engineering with 12 years of extensive experience & knowledge in developing and implementing data security solutions and managing a team of data security engineers. It will include design and architecture of data security solutions maintaining technology standards based on industry standards and proposing and developing innovative solutions based on enterprise strategy.
Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality security architecture specifications white papers technical documentation roadmaps and presentation materials.
- Work in conjunction with enterprise and security architects to make decisions and help lead initiatives to ensure timely delivery of security architecture and solutions that support IT and business objectives.
- Work with little or no supervision to create security architecture deliverables based on high-level directives and principles to meet project requirements and timelines.
- Make informed decisions on matters of risk and security architectural approach that reflect your information security experience and industry best practices.
- Lead and mentor the team of security engineers to deliver data security related initiatives.
- Evaluate new security solutions according to security goals and match with existing security and infrastructure.
- Partner with infrastructure engineering teams to guide deployment of security systems and ensure corporate security standards are met.
- Ensure security tools are deployed with appropriate security policies and rules to manage security risk feed events to the corporate SIEM and minimize impact to systems and users.
- Manage the transition of new technologies into day-to-day operations.
Qualifications- Technical Experience:
- Experience within the transformation of traditional data center security measures into hybrid and cloud deployment (Azure AWS GCP)
- Experience building security reference architectures for complex information systems based on industry frameworks and with traceable alignment to business requirements and goals.
- Expertise and direct support experience with the following technologies:
- Experience with developing and implementing comprehensive DLP solution for endpoint network and structured/unstructured data.
- Experience with designing and implementing CASB solution for Shadow IT API integration and reverse proxy use cases for SaaS.
- Experience with implementation of data in motion data in transit and data at rest encryption technologies.
- Experience with advanced encryption techniques such as tokenization and database TDE.
- Experience with encryption key management solutions.
- Experience with certificate technologies.
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing the leading CASB/DLP solutions (Microsoft Netskope PaloAlto SkyHigh Broadcom/Symantec etc.)
- Familiarity with design/architecture of major SaaS applications in the market and their security and data protection features (O365 Google Workplace SFDC ServiceNow Box Slack etc.)
- Background in security and risk management.
- Familiarity with SIEM tools such as Splunk Sentinel QRadar.
- Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated experience in communicating complex security concepts both verbally and in writing to a variety of audiences.
- Strong organizational analytical and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills including proficiency in English.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into digestible diagrams and presentations.
Location: Jersey City NJ
The pay range for the role is $195400 to $250600. The specific offer will depend on an applicants skills and other factors.
