Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Custodial Supervisor who is responsible for overseeing daily custodial operations and ensuring quality service delivery across facilities during core hours. This role includes creating and managing custodial staff schedules coordinating with facility teams for emergency support and maintaining adequate inventories of general cleaning supplies. The Custodial Supervisor ensures all standard and special custodial services are completed to meet customer and organizational expectations while adhering to government security requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain custodial staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during all core operational hours.
- Supervise and support custodial teams to meet service expectations for basic cleaning on-demand service calls and additional facility requirements.
- Coordinate with the Central Plant/Shift Operations team to manage emergency custodial services after hours on weekends and holidays.
- Monitor and assess quality of custodial work; implement corrective actions as needed to maintain high service standards.
- Manage inventory and procurement of general cleaning supplies and equipment for custodial operations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety sanitation and regulatory standards.
- Maintain required training and certification for government security classified courier service duties.
- Support staff development through ongoing coaching performance feedback and training.
- Maintain accurate records of custodial activities incidents and supply usage.
Basic Qualifications
- TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years of prior relevant experience in facilities management or a related field.
- Proven experience planning organizing and overseeing day-to-day facility operations maintenance and inspections.
- Knowledge of building systems (HVAC plumbing electrical) and routine facility maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with safety regulations building codes and compliance standards.
- Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships contracts and service agreements.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Experience with office space planning and allocation across multiple locations.
- Working knowledge of budgeting project scheduling and operational cost controls.
- Ability to work independently and lead a facilities support team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Facilities Management Engineering Construction Management or related field.
- Certification in Facility Management (e.g. IFMA CFM FMP or BOMI).
- Experience with large-scale construction or remodeling projects.
- Expertise in facility planning and long-term space utilization strategy.
- Proficiency in facilities management software (e.g. CMMS or IWMS platforms).
- Strong project management skills including planning execution and reporting.
- Experience managing geographically dispersed facilities or multi-site operations.
- Working knowledge of environmental sustainability practices in facilities (e.g. LEED standards).
- Ability to resolve complex problems involving compliance safety or logistical challenges.
- Proven leadership experience training delegating to and supervising team members.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $57850.00 - $104575.00
