This role is integral to the management of both the multidisciplinary and nonclinical functions within a veterans extended care facility ensuring that all operational aspects run smoothly and efficiently. The individual in this position is responsible for overseeing the comprehensive nursing care activities throughout the facility which includes coordinating with various healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality services tailored to the unique needs of veterans. This involves not only the direct supervision of nursing staff but also the implementation of best practices in patient care adherence to regulatory standards and fostering a collaborative environment that promotes the well-being of both residents and staff. By effectively managing these critical components the position plays a vital role in enhancing the overall quality of care provided to veterans in the facility.
