About Apexon:
We enable #HumanFirstDIGITAL
- Design and architect robust scalable and cost-effectivedata platforms on Azure and AWS.
- Translate business requirements into end-to-end technical solutions covering data ingestion transformation storage analytics and visualization.
- Present architectural options and proposals to clients and internal stakeholders including high-level and low-level design documentation.
- Collaborate closely with delivery teams ensuring the accurate implementation of architectural designs and data solutions.
- Define and promotearchitecture standards best practices and reusable patternsfor cloud data platforms.
- Evaluate and recommend new data technologies services and frameworks aligned with business objectives and industry trends.
- Work with cross-functional teams including Solution Architects Data Engineers Cloud Engineers and Delivery Managers to deliver innovative cloud-first data solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders including C-level executives.
- Support new business opportunities contribute to pre-sales activities and assist in shaping client proposals.
- Work across multiple projects helping Apexon and its clients achieve their strategic data goals.
- Proven experience as aSolution Architectwith afocus on data platforms and cloud data solutions.
- Hands-on experience designing data solutions onAzure (e.g. Azure Data Lake Synapse Data Factory)andAWS (e.g. Redshift Glue S3 Lambda).
- Strong background indata architecture including data modeling warehousing real-time and batch processing and big data frameworks.
- Proficiency with modern data tools and technologies such as Spark Databricks Kafka or Snowflake (bonus).
- Knowledge ofcloud security networking and cost optimizationas it relates to data platforms.
- Experience in total cost of ownership estimation and managing its impact on deliverables.
- Familiarity with architectural frameworks (e.g. TOGAF) methodologies and tooling (e.g. C4 model ArchiMate).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to lead technical problem-solving efforts.
- Strong communication skills able to clearly articulate complex solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to lead and mentor technical SMEs and data engineering teams.
- Willingness to travel to other Apexon offices and client sites across the UK (and potentially overseas) as required.
- Experience withline managementor mentoring junior architects and engineers.
- Relevant certifications inMicrosoft Azureand/orAWS(e.g. Azure Solutions Architect Expert AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional).
- Experience withhybrid cloudandmulti-clouddata architecture strategies.
- Familiarity with data governance data privacy and regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g. GDPR).
