Your Role
As a Machinist youll be at the heart of operations producing and repairing bespoke components that keep manufacturing running. Youll work from detailed engineering drawings using lathes milling machines and other precision tools to deliver high-quality results.
Youll be part of a supportive safety-first team working 8-hour shifts on a rotating pattern (days backs nights) Monday to Friday. With a brand-new workshop on the horizon youll help shape a cutting-edge facility.
What Youll Need
- Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent experience
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or similar
- Skilled in manual lathes milling machines and general workshop tools
- Valid driving licence
- Strong understanding of safe systems of work
Desirable:
- CNC machine experience (setting/programming)
- IOSH or NEBOSH safety qualification
