Our programs include an Early Intervention Program for children ages 0-3 our Anderson School a special education school for children ages 3-12 who have complex medical needs and Woodbridge School our early childhood education program. For over 50 years we have been changing the trajectory of childrens lives. The Anderson School in Andover MA provides a safe and nurturing special education school for students ages 3-12 years old with complex medical needs to maximize each students independence and growth. Our highly skilled experienced and dedicated staff provide individualized instruction and support including educational and therapeutic programming. Our stimulating classroom setting includes specially designed classrooms to promote positive and active learning. High staff to student ratios including nurses in each classrooms enable our 11-month program to have non-traditional learners experience a traditional school experience. Family support is paramount including providing various on-site clinics and services to help our parents. The Speech/Language Pathologist is responsible for providing high quality speech language and communication services on a one-to-one and/or small group basis for students with communication disorders. The Speech/Language Pathologist will work closely with classroom teachers parents/guardians other therapists nurses and teaching assistants. School hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am 3:00 pm and follows a school calendar with a summer session. This position is full time 35 hours per :Current Massachusetts SLP license; ASHA certifiedEducation commensurate with holding current licensure as a Speech/Language Pathologist issued by the MA Board of Registration in Allied Health ProfessionalsExperience working with students ages 3-12 in a Special Education settingSuitable background and fingerprint checksMust be able to sit bend kneel and lift 25 poundsAugmentative communication experience is a plus!Partners in Child Development provides a supportive environment which values and promotes team collaboration creative thinking and innovation with ongoing support and mentoring for each employees professional development.
