Essential Functions:- Oversees a team of coders to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Reviews and approves coding standards and guidelines for the team.
- Collaborates with other departments to gather requirements for coding projects.
- Provides technical guidance and support to junior coders.
- Monitors coding quality and accuracy to maintain high standards.
- Implements process improvements to enhance coding efficiency.
Education Requirement:- As required by listed licensure and/or certification requirement.

Certifications:RHIT RHIA CPC CCS CCS-P or COC required.
Skills:- Good working knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Must possess high degree of professional competency for coding accuracy in all details and must possess a self directed work ethic.

- Strong problem-solving collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively and professionally under pressure.
- Intermediary skills in MS Office: Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook required.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities and deadlines.
- Analytical and organizational skills a must for analyzing clinical information and data.
Experience:- 7 years professional or facility coding experience with documented education in anatomy physiology and medical terminology required.
- Pediatric coding and billing preferred.
