Job Description

Quality Inspector- Defense

The Quality Inspector under general supervision is responsible for the inspection of a variety of material and assemblies at receiving in-process and final inspection to ensure compliance with internal and customer requirements.

Location: Santa Clarita CA-Onsite

Salary Range: $ 22.64 - $30.14 per hour

Criteria such as the candidates qualifications and relevant experience the scope of the specific position as well as market and business considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer.

Your Challenge:

Interpret purchase orders work instructions engineering drawings specifications and standards to ensure accurate inspections.

Use calibrated measuring equipment (e.g. micrometers calipers height gauges) to verify parts.

Complete inspection reports.

Generate reports for non-conformances.

Recommend and implement improvements to inspection procedures.




Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
What you Bring:

Minimum of 2 years experience in quality inspection in aerospace defense or heavily regulated manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications:

IPC-A-610 certification

Understanding of industry standards (AS9100 ISO 9001 IPC MIL-STD etc.).
