Understanding of the large outsourcing space deal structuring and experience negotiating IT contracts pricing and SLAs
Areas of Responsibility
Customer Prospecting
The Negotiator will participate in and coordinate SGS NEG contributions to outreach programs based on experience in marketplace and will mentor junior members in same in order to help build the pipeline.
Proposal Development
The Negotiator will work with all concerned groups (Legal Business Delivery and Finance (DAG)) in order to submit proposal responses that protect Infosys without perception of being unreasonable.
Contracting and MSA
The Negotiator will effectively explain all Infosys positions to customer negotiate all terms and schedules with occasional support from a Strategic Negotiator escalate issues as required. S/He closes deals on a timely basis in order to sign off by Legal Delivery Finance and Business.
Organization Initiatives
The Negotiator will extend to organization experienced based understanding of market. The methods will include whitepapers training sessions (e.g. Brown Bag lunches) and consultation with IBUs on an as requested basis create appropriate artifacts in order to increase wins on favorable terms.
Knowledge Skills required for the role
Knowledge: Knowledge of contract terms including SLAs and Pricing
Skills: Strong communication skills - written and oral
